What are Gigabyte limits?
Some Giganews accounts include Gigabyte limits, which cap the amount of data that can be downloaded each month. Gigabyte limited accounts are offered in place of speed limited accounts because of the varying speeds offered by ISPs, either through the types of products they offer or through artificial network limitations. Giganews’ Diamond and Platinum accounts do not have Gigabyte limits.
Take note that only downloaded articles are counted towards the Gigabyte limit, headers and articles posted by you are NOT included.
If you use a Gigabyte limited account, you can configure our service to automatically renew your account when your limit is reached. This can be done via the "Account Recycling" section of our control panel at http://www.giganews.com/controlpanel/recycle.html.
You can also upgrade to Giganews' unlimited Platinum or Diamond account to eliminate Gigabyte limits altogether via the "Manage Service" section of our control panel at https://www.giganews.com/controlpanel/acctchng.html.
