Giganews Announces Fast, Free 1Gbps Service during Campus Party 2009 in Brazil

Giganews, Inc., the world's foremost premium Usenet provider, announced that they will provide this year's Campus Party attendees with a free 1 Gbps Usenet connection and free USB drives for students. Campus Party 2009 will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from January 19 to 25, 2009.
Student Campus Party attendees will receive a free USB drive in their welcome kit. The USB drive is configured with Giganews Usenet browser software that runs directly from the USB drive to make it easy for students to search, upload and download Usenet content. All attendees will be able to access Giganews Usenet via the 1 Gbps Internet connection Giganews will provide.
Giganews will also host Campus Party discussion and binary groups for each specific area of specialty at Campus Party. Every time attendees post to the groups they will be entered in a prize drawing. Prizes include an iPod Nano, iPod Touch and a year of free Giganews Usenet service.
Campus Party is an annual, week-long high-speed Internet party for students established in 1997 in Spain. This year marks the second Campus Party held in São Paulo, Brazil. Campus Party events are attended by thousands of students with 6000 expected in Brazil. Common activities include computer gaming and sharing digital technology information.
