Giganews, Inc., the world's foremost premium Usenet provider, today announced their commitment to extend content availability to an unprecedented 365 days. Giganews will continue upgrading data storage around the world, ultimately providing members with access to a full year of content.

Timed with the retention announcement, the "Giganews 365 Special" cuts the subscription cost of Diamond and Platinum unlimited accounts by 50% for the first three months for returning and new members. This puts the cost of an unlimited Giganews Usenet account at $12.49 for the first time.

"It's an incredible time; we're adding an additional day of retention every single day," said Philip Molter, CTO at Giganews. Molter added, "It won't be long until we are providing a full year of retention. We're tracking our progress on our website. We hope users will check the site often as we reach this new milestone in Usenet history."
